In case you missed it, stunning news that Manju Ghosh is travelling the length of England by bus – again! Whereas last year she travelled from Berwick to Land's End, this time she is attempting the other (shorter) diagonal from Dover to Gretna.
She'll probably have completed her journey already, so sadly there's no chance of passing her en route. The section of route between Preston and Carlisle is surely the same as I'm going to take, straight through the Central Lakes on the 555, unless she decided to head out round the Cumbrian coast via Barrow and Sellafield: that way would add another day's travel I should imagine.
